Ginevra Held’s eclectic San Francisco apartment is everything I love about interior design. A baroque armchair with a curvaceous bright yellow frame playfully whispers to a Greecian statue provocatively dripping in the same yellow paint. Unexpected wallpaper prints flirt with bright-hued pops of color throughout her home. Ginevra's Tiffany blue bedroom is fit for Marie Antoinette - if Marie Antoinette were unabashedly whimsical.
Trained in architecture at UC Berkeley, Ginevra excels at playfully pairing ornate and modern design elements. Bold textures and fanciful architectural details are visual gifts she leaves wrapped in every nook of her space.
I’ve admired Ginevra’s design work for some time so I was beyond thrilled to receive these images of Annachich Jewelry in her exquisite home. Seeing pieces that I handcrafted tucked into sweet moments in her flat is like being whisked away to an alternate reality where everything is beautifully romantic and wonderfully unpredictable.
Ginevra splits her time between San Francisco and France. You can see the joint influence of classic masters and modern street art in her interior design style.
