It's that time of year again. PSL's are available at every corner 'bucks. The days are getting shorter. And here in Northern California, the super hot days are fewer and farther between.
Fall fashion season is upon us. Which leaves one pertinent question: what's a girl to wear this season if she cares about both sustainability and style?
I've been chatting this summer about my commitment to ethical and sustainable practices in both the jewelry I make and the goods I buy. I want to remind you that you don't have to sacrifice style to make ethical wardrobe choices!
Serving as case in point: my first day of school look. My dress and vest were both made in the USA by brands available at Nordstrom. The dress is by Dee Elly and the vest, which will be a fall staple in my wardrobe, is by Soprano.
When I wore this cozy tee dress and vest to school, paired with my favorite big ol' statement jewels, I felt both comfortable and on-trend for fall.
The Reign of Chain statement necklace is one of my absolute favorite pieces in the line. I've worn it with everything from jeans and a tee (all the time), to a gown at a black tie affaire, to a beach-bound maxi. The Gothic Arch Cuff in gold is also a go-to in my wardrobe, no matter the season.
If you're wondering why I was at school, I'm very excited to be taking a metalsmithing class at SJSU! I'm pumped to flex my scholarly muscles in a collaborative classroom setting. (And yes, I did bring my dog to campus. It was my first time there so she came to help me sniff it out. ;)
As the sight of amber leaves tumbling to the ground cause you start daydreaming about new jackets and statement jewelry, I hope you'll be inspired to seek out brands that care about ethical manufacturing and sustainability. There are so many amazing brands out there that are bringing on-trend fashion to the market without hurting the environment or their workers.

Wishing you a happy start of fall!

This is the ultimate show-stopping necklace! It's bold, graphic, and completely unique. Long, shimmering chains add serious glimmer to this large pendant inspired by architectural tiles.
This mega-statement cuff is perfect for bold ladies who want to harness their inner superwoman.
It's tall, powerful shape is inspired by the Gothic Revival architecture of the landmark Woolworth Building in New York City. We were inspired by the building's 3000 windows and created this beautiful and intricate pattern from their design.
